Who will the Supportive Housing Program Help?

Program Men

Our goal is to support formerly homeless individuals as they enter the job market and move toward independent living. This program will help individuals who complete the Mission's New Life Recovery Program yet struggle to make "ends meet" and maintain sobriety in the community where drugs and alcohol abound.

Your partnership will make a difference to those (like Willie and Paul at left) who need support in their transition.

You Can Furnish Hope!

The Supportive Housing Program will include 44 studio and 1 bedroom apartments, a community banquet room, commercial kitchen, learning center and a small gym for community use.

We need your help to "furnish" hope! Your funds will furnish each apartment with a kitchenette, including cabinets, sink, refrigerator, stove top, microwave, and furniture, as well as a bathroom with a shower unit and fixtures.

In preparation for the 44 studio apartments, you have helped purchase all 174 windows, ALL of which are installed! Thank you for your support!

Some other projects that have been completed include the elevator shaft, furnace installation, electric service installation, as well as painting and floor removal. Workers have also completed a few apartments and most of the framing. To see the most up-to-date photos of the construction...
