Changing Lives - New Faith Testimony

My name is Carol.  I am a survivor of incest and molestation...I’ve been in and out of jail, attempted suicide, been homeless, and an addict. I felt so alone for so long.

As soon as I came through the doors of Capital City Rescue Mission’s Family Center I felt welcomed and loved.  I asked if Jamel could come live with me and the answer was, “Yes, you were accepted as a family.”  Thank you for a place of love.

God has provided all my needs and I am blessed.  Sometimes I ask myself, “Am I really here? Is this for real?”  It is.

Thank you for providing for the Rescue Mission’s Family Center – God used you to protect me, to bring healing to my heart and to love me.  Now I can share His love with my son and I can help others. Thank you!
